Occupational Therapist | Holistic Life Coach | Mind-Body Practitioner | Tuning in to Kids™ Facilitator | Seasons of Matrescence™ Guide

Alicia is an experienced Occupational Therapist with over 16 years of expertise in paediatrics, specialising in child development, disability, and family support. Her career spans hospitals, community health services, and schools in both Australia and the United Kingdom. Alicia is passionate about empowering families—helping children, parents, and mothers navigate challenges, build confidence, and thrive in their daily lives.

Alicia has extensive experience working with neurodivergent children, including those with Autism and ADHD, as well as children facing sensory processing challenges, motor skill difficulties, and developmental delays. She tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each child, focusing on self-care, play, emotional regulation, and social interactions to foster growth and independence.

Equally dedicated to supporting parents and mothers, Alicia integrates advanced training in matrescence, trauma-informed care, coaching, and psycho-sensory interventions into her practice. She offers holistic support to parents navigating the emotional, physical, and sensory demands of caregiving, with a special focus on helping mothers rediscover balance and a sense of self during the profound transformation of motherhood.

Throughout her career, Alicia has held leadership roles in Occupational Therapy, consulted in schools including the WA Department of Education and played a pivotal role in implementing the NDIS Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) Program in WA. As a lecturer and tutor at Edith Cowan University, she has shared her expertise with future Occupational Therapists, furthering her commitment to education and empowerment.

As a mother of two young children, Alicia deeply understands the joys and complexities of family life. This perspective strengthens her dedication to fostering strong, connected relationships within families. Beyond her professional practice, Alicia brings warmth and a sense of celebration to life’s milestones as a celebrant, reflecting her belief in the power of connection and shared moments.

At the heart of Alicia’s work is a commitment to helping children, parents, and mothers grow together—breaking cycles, building resilience, and creating nurturing environments where families can flourish.

"How we connect with others has more impact on our health and well-being than we ever imagined. Relationships are the foundation for resilience, healing, and growth."
